Family Activities

In the Family Activities Tents, parents may join their children in beginning craft activities. The storytelling is free; pre-registration is required for all other activities. Parents of children 7 and under must stay with the child during the class.
Class fee: $5 per person.

Registration Information

We are again offering online registration with a paper registration option. Refer to online registration instructions for information about registering online. All online and paper registrations will be processed on a first come, first served basis, until classes are filled. Paper registrations received after classes are filled will be returned. If classes are not filled, registration at the Festival may be possible; check at the Family Activities Tents.

Another Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival has come and gone, and we could not have done without all of you – Festival goers, volunteers, Festival Committee members, shepherds, and participants in so many activities, competitions and demonstrations! It is amazing to see this come together with all categories of participants contributing to its success. We tried some new things this year, and had a little bad weather to deal with, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding, support, and good cheer. Thanks to everyone for participating in our 44th celebration of all things sheep & wool! We are already thinking about how to do even better next year!
