Festival Location
The Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival is held at the Howard County Fairgrounds, located just west of the City of Baltimore in Howard County, Maryland.

Festival Entrances
There are two main entrances for the Festival – one to the East near 32, and one to the West near 97.
Directions to the Festival
NOTICE:
If you are travelling to the Festival from points West, we ask that you use Rt 97. At the light, turn onto Rt 144 to the West Entrance of the Howard County Fairgrounds (on the left). (This will help minimize traffic backups on Rt 32.)
From Baltimore, MD — I-70
Take I-70 WEST, to the MD 32 exit (80) towards Sykesville/Clarksville.
Turn LEFT onto MD 32 South.
Turn RIGHT onto Route 144 WEST (Frederick Road).
Turn RIGHT in the EAST ENTRANCE onto Fairground Road.
From Frederick, MD — I-70
Take I-70 EAST.
Turn RIGHT to MD 97 SOUTH exit (80) towards Sykesville/Clarksville.
Turn LEFT onto Route 144 EAST (Frederick Road).
Turn LEFT in the WEST ENTRANCE of fairgrounds.
From Washington, DC — I-95
Take I-95 N, to the MD 32 WEST exit (38B), towards Columbia.
MERGE onto MD-32 W.
Turn LEFT onto Route 144 WEST (Frederick Road).
Turn RIGHT in the EAST ENTRANCE onto Fairground Road.
Handicap Parking
Use the East entrance, please stay in the far right lane, and parking staff will guide you to the right place
Bus Parking
Busses:
If you are bringing a bus to the Festival, there will be someone at the East entrance to direct you where to drop off your riders. To avoid backups on 32, if you are coming from the West, please access the Fairgrounds on 144 from Route 97 but still use the east entrance.
