The Maryland Sheep Breeders Association

The Maryland Sheep Breeders Association (MSBA), in an effort to provide information concerning the sheep industry, would like to invite you to become a member.

MSBA is an active organization, sponsoring the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival, Maryland Wool Pool, Sheep Shearing School, Maryland Sheep News, various youth activities, and a variety of educational functions. The Maryland Sheep News is sent to all MSBA members and contains information on upcoming events, educational articles and advertising. The Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival, held annually the first full weekend in May, has become known as one of the premier events of this type in the nation.

As a sheep enthusiast, your help is needed to successfully complete the many events scheduled during the year. Volunteers are always welcome on the many committees. If you would like to be involved with your fellow sheep breeders in promoting the Maryland Sheep Industry, while educating yourself and others, you are invited to join the Maryland Sheep Breeders Association. The annual membership/subscription fee is $25. If you take your wool to the Maryland Wool Pool, membership in MSBA is deducted on wool sales over $40.

The membership year runs from October through September. Dues for membership received prior to June 1, 2008 will be accepted as paid through September 30, 2008. Dues received June 1, 2008 and later (including dues deducted at the Maryland Wool Pool) will be accepted as paid through September 30, 2009.

Make checks payable to: Maryland Sheep Breeders Association, Inc.

There will be a $25 charge on any checks returned for insufficient funds.
