Do You have a Social Media Farm Marketing Plan?

with Ginger S. Myers

This seminar will explore basic fundamentals of popular social networking sites, examples of use, and the potential benefits that social media could bring to your farm business. By understanding what customers value and why they would buy your product, you can successfully market the products (meat, fleece, hand-spun yarn, breeding stock) that your farm produces. Ginger will describe how you can create and convey value to the customer. The four areas where consumers derive value are the product, the price, the placement, and the promotion. It is important to recognize that a marketing plan is much more than just the advertisement of your product --it is the entire plan of how you will convey value, both real and perceived, to the customer. Be creative.
