JF38 Needle Felting with Renata Maile-Moskowitz

At the festival, we are surrounded by real livestock, and in virtual reality all around us, the gaming world has created sheep and goats far exceeding any of our visions and imagination. In this workshop we can combine the “real” animal fibers surrounding us with the color and fantasy of the virtual world! Imagine colored horns, tails, bodies, (wings-or not), beards and body coverings, or other fantastic extensions-all created by using a felting needle, imagination and a rainbow of colored wool.

This class is offered in two separate sessions.

Age 7+. Limit 15 students. Class fee: $5 per person.

Thank you!

Another Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival has come and gone, and we could not have done without all of you – Festival goers, volunteers, Festival Committee members, shepherds, and participants in so many activities, competitions and demonstrations! It is amazing to see this come together with all categories of participants contributing to its success. We tried some new things this year, and had a little bad weather to deal with, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding, support, and good cheer. Thanks to everyone for participating in our 44th celebration of all things sheep & wool! We are already thinking about how to do even better next year!

In Peace,

Gwen Handler, Chairman, Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival

Lee Langstaff, President, Maryland Sheep Breeders Association
