The Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival is held at the Howard County Fairgrounds, located just west of the City of Baltimore in Howard County, Maryland.

Directions to the Festival
From Baltimore, MD — I-70
Take I-70, to the MD 32 exit (80) towards Sykesville/Clarksville.
Turn LEFT onto MD 32 South.
Turn RIGHT onto Route 144 (Frederick Road).
Turn RIGHT onto Fairground Road.
Look for signs to the Howard County Fairgrounds.
From Frederick, MD — I-70
Take I-70, to the MD 32 exit (80) towards Sykesville/Clarksville.
From Frederick, bear RIGHT onto MD 32 South.
Turn RIGHT onto Route 144 (Frederick Road).
Turn RIGHT onto Fairground Road.
Look for signs to the Howard County Fairgrounds.
From Washington, DC — I-95
Take I-95 N, to the MD 32 exit (38B), towards Columbia.
MERGE onto MD-32 W.
Turn LEFT onto Route 144 (Frederick Road).
Turn RIGHT onto Fairground Road.
Look for signs to the Howard County Fairgrounds.

The weather at the festival can change quickly. Please check the weather before you leave for the festival.
Where to Stay
We receive many inquiries about camping at the Festival. We prefer for the general public not to camp at the Festival. No electrical hook-ups or shower facilities are available at the Festival. Some nearby campgrounds include:
