A valuable in 5 bases from lace/fingering to bulky, and with115 color ward you’ve got a whole rainbow to choose from. About Us
Henny Penny Farm is both a working farm and a teaching farm, educating hundreds of children and families about our food system and our ecosystems. We raise a flock of Romney Sheep that regularly lead their classes at shows for both their fleeces and their structural correctness. We match each individual fleece to its best end use, whether it be knitting yarn, woven items like scarves and blankets, or knitted hats and socks. We also have a flock of dorset and commercial crosses and we use their wool for a multitude of projects from stuffing our wool pillows to rugs. All of …

About Us
We are a fiber farm focused on soft, sustainable, farm yarn from our organically and sustainably raised flock of Finn sheep and Angora goats. Each batch of yarn is carefully spun by local mills, and hand-dyed in small batches using only natural dyes either grown here on the farm, locally foraged or sustainably sourced. We believe that farming comes with a responsibility toward the environment, and are passionate about all steps of sheep-to-garment. We also believe that farm yarn can be luxurious, and we strive to create a product that will not only be comfortable next to your skin, but stand the test of time and generations.

About Us
Ewes-ful Fiber Arts is a small farm and fiber arts business, located in Westminster, MD. Susan Withnell has been creating hand spun yarns and hand woven items for almost 20 years, often using fiber from her own animals. She raises high percentage rare breed Wensleydale sheep. Wensleydale wool is a british wool that is known as the finest luster long wool in the world. A limited amount of her farm raised Wensleydale wool roving is available for $30/pound. Susan uses this soft, long stapled fiber to spin and hand dye some of her yarns. Knitting with Wensleydale yarn produces a soft garment that will “bloom” as it is warn. The natural sheen to wensleydale yarn is unlike that of most other wool yarns. Susan’s Angora rabbits and alpaca also provide fibers for the handspun yarns. Offered for sale are handspun alpaca, angora, mohair, and camel down/silk blend yarns. The natural colored camel down/silk blend is exquisitely soft and the silk gives the yarn a natural shine. It …
