About Us

Aisling Yarns has provided quality products to fiber enthusiasts for nearly 20 years. We started as a small, hand-dyed yarn business in 2002, and have grown quite a lot in the last two decades.

We import our specialty yarn, Blue-Faced Leicester, directly from England where the sheep are field-and-mountain raised, and their fleeces are processed and spun in a small mill. We also import a great many other yarns from England. We carry locally raised (Central Pennsylvania) and custom-spun BFL in a lovely shade of pale gray, which is the mixture of many white fleeces with one or two black fleeces added. For our spinning customers, we have BFL, BFL Mixed, and BFL/Silk Combed Top, both hand-dyed and natural. Our dyes are made for Aisling Yarns exclusively, and are not available in the marketplace.

We make Shaker-style Yarn Boxes in two sizes, Sewing Boxes in three different configurations, Spool Boxes, and Pin Cushions for discerning fiber customers. We also offer Oval …
