The 48th annual Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival has now come to a close. Thank you to everyone who "attended" our virtual event this weekend. While the festival has officially ended, all of the web pages -- including the Virtual Vendor Marketplace, Virtual Fleece Sale, and Virtual Breed Display Barn -- will remain up until next year, so feel free to come back and visit any time. Our Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival Online Community Facebook group ( will continue to be active, too. Some vendors will continue to post specials throughout the year (hint: it's a great place to look for holiday gifts). We hope that those of you who may have only learned of us through our virtual events in the past two years will join us in person in 2022. The virtual event can't hold a candle to what we do in person. There's really nothing like it. You'll have to just come and see for yourself! We hope you had a good time this weekend. I'll leave you with a few ways you can show your support and make sure we can continue with this special event for years to come. Make a donation at (and a big thank you to everyone who did that already over the course of the weekend!)Buy festival gear - purchase 2021 “Staying Home and Staying Safe Until 2022” t-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, posters and note cards in our online store Buy a catalog at -- since we already paid for the printing, we'd rather send them to you than send them to be recycled. Thanks again, and see you next year (for real, we hope)!#mdsw2021 #virtualonlinewoolfestival ...
