We'll be unveiling our 2021 artwork soon -- and yes, we will be selling t-shirts and tote bags -- but in the meantime, meet our 2021 cover artist, George B. Maurer - Artist. George’s name is well known to Maryland shepherds, and it’s not because of his artistic talent. Recently retired, George was a partner in the family meat processing business, Maurer & Miller Meats in Manchester, Maryland for more than three decades. Since his retirement, he has been pursuing his passion for painting. Here are a few samples for you to enjoy. Read more of George's story at sheepandwool.org/2021-catalog-cover-artist/. #mdsw2021 #virtualonlinewoolfestival

In case you missed it -- registration for our 2021 Fiber Arts Seminars, which will be taught virtually, opened last week. They are already 68% full, but there are plenty of great classes left, like the Intentional Art Yarn class from Esther Rodgers pictured here. Check out all of the classes and register at www.lessonface.com/sheepandwool.

We are now taking orders for the 2021 catalog! We found out last year that even though the in-person festival was cancelled, people still wanted a catalog as a souvenir. So while the 2021 Festival will once again be virtual, we have decided to continue our 48-year tradition of publishing a printed catalog. This year’s catalog will contain new artwork and will serve as a guide to our virtual event.![]()
This year, we are accepting online orders for the 2021 catalog by means of a "Buy Now" button on our catalog ordering page, sheepandwool.org/purchase-a-catalog/. We estimate that the first shipment of catalogs will be done around the third week in March. Subsequent mailings will be done once or twice a week.
