About Us
MidMitten Designs creates fun and functional project bags for fiber arts aficionados designed and made by crafters to hold projects on hooks, needles or spindles ranging from sweaters and afghans to one skein socks and shawls. We’re known for the quality of our work and for our vinyl front bags. Our project bags are all no-snag and no-sag – nothing inside or out to snag your fiber and they stand when there is a project inside.
From sweaters to socks, we’ve got a style and size for what you make with 4 versions of vinyl windows on the front or vinyl zippered pockets. MidMitten Designs Sassy Sacks© are canvas bottomed, drawstring topped bags with a sassy sentiment appliqued on the base.
New and loved by many – Yarn Snugglers are designed to keep yarn cakes clean, neat, and intact while you work on your project. We also make Needlekeepers – a storage option for those who have multiple sets/same sized interchangeable needles.

About Us
We are a fiber farm focused on soft, sustainable, farm yarn from our organically and sustainably raised flock of Finn sheep and Angora goats. Each batch of yarn is carefully spun by local mills, and hand-dyed in small batches using only natural dyes either grown here on the farm, locally foraged or sustainably sourced. We believe that farming comes with a responsibility toward the environment, and are passionate about all steps of sheep-to-garment. We also believe that farm yarn can be luxurious, and we strive to create a product that will not only be comfortable next to your skin, but stand the test of time and generations.

About Us
Maryland Make It With Wool is a volunteer based sewing education program and competition primarily for youth. During the Competition, the handmade wool garments are judged for construction quality, fit, fashion and marketability. Divided into four age groups – a junior, senior, and adult are selected to participate in the National Competition. In addition, the top preteen receives a sewing machine.
During the Sewing With Wool School, participants study and practice sewing techniques recommended for wool fabrics. Like most activities in 2020 and 2021, the Wool Schools were cancelled as a result of the pandemic; however, the 2020 Competition was held virtually.
The Maryland Make It With Wool group has been selling Wool Wax Crème as our main fundraiser at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival for over 20 years. Proceeds from the sales of Wool Wax Crème are used to fund the Wool School and to provide wool fabrics, sewing notions and equipment to the participants. It also covers travel expenses for the Maryland winners to attend the National Competition.
In addition to learning about the versatility and beauty of wool, many valuable life skills are developed through the Maryland Make It With Wool program.

Festival Exclusive
We have two special festival colorways, dyed on all of our yarns, and we are debuting a new yarn base for 2021.
About Us
Babs and the Miss Babs Team have been dyeing beautiful yarns in our studio in the mountains of eastern Tennessee since 2005. Miss Babs offers a wide variety of yarn bases from lace to chunky in a stunning range of colorways. Between our semi-solids, repeatable variegated colors (Babettes), and one of a kind colors (Wild Irises) we hope to have the right color for your next project.
We love seeing the colors that occur in nature and playing off them to create yarns that evoke the emotional impact of the natural world. We are always happy to help pick out the appropriate yarn base or color for your upcoming project and continually work with designers to create new patterns that are perfect for our yarns.

About Us
Mid-Atlantic Border Collie Rescue is uniquely qualified to improve the lives of misplaced border collies due to more than 20 years of being a haven for border collies that have been abandoned, discarded, or neglected. Knowing and loving this breed allows MABCR to rescue dogs from uncertain futures, and place them into caring, responsible homes. MABCR knows each of their dogs intimately, and what each requires in their new home. Dogs that arrive neglected or with behavioral issues receive special care and training to allow them to rehabilitate. Assessment of each dog as individuals will determine if they should be placed as a pet, or into a working home – involved in service, herding, goose removal, agility, obedience, etc.

About Us
Tamarack Farm is located about 18 miles east of State College, PA, the location of Pennsylvania State University, in the beautiful Pennsylvania Appalachian valley and ridge region. Tamarack Farm covers about 26 hilly acres of pasture and woods just a few steps from Penns Creek, a well-known destination for fly-fishing. A long row of Tamaracks (Larix) grows on the hill as a backdrop to the farmhouse–hence the name of our farm. At Tamarack Farm Sheep & Wool we have been raising Icelandic (horned and polled) and natural-colored Merino Sheep for twenty-five years. We have a colorful Icelandic flock with a full range of patterns and colors. Our sheep are on pasture about 8-9 months per year, using management-intensive grazing techniques. Our flock is healthy (and happy!) with good parasite resistance. We are CLA, OPP and Scrapie free.
Dyeing and felting has captured Jan’s interest, and we work with our own wool as well as selling roving and yarn at our vendor’s booth at the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival. We market breeding stock, wool, and wool products, particularly felt and felt crafts.
