About Us
Welcome to The Hollow. We are Helen and Mary Beth Graham, the creative hands and minds behind Toad Hollow where we live whimsical, creative lives. Toad Hollow has grown and changed over the years, from a brick and mortar gift store to its present iteration – hand dyed yarn and crafty supplies.
Reading has always been our haven – we both love disappearing into a good book. This is evident in our yarn colors with most of them being drawn from favorite stories.
Each year we choose an overall theme to influence us. This year is all things Alice In Wonderland. We are releasing two new colors each month, one variegated and one tonal. On the front page of our website, toadhollownj.com, you will see our Alice Collection. Click through and come down the rabbit hole with us.
You can find us all over as @toadhollownj (Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) and we are The Crafty Toads on YouTube where we have a podcast.

I source whimsical and unique fabrics from around the world, including botanical prints, novelty knitting themes, colorful graphics and stunning neutrals. I adorn each zipper pull with a locally-made, artisan lampwork bead that coordinates perfectly with each bag.

About Us
A family farm on 25 acres outside of Westminster, Maryland, specializing in local food and local fiber. We are passionate about local produce, and sell our products each week at the Downtown Westminster Farmers Market. All of our vegetables are grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or fungicides. We do not use any genetically modified seeds. In the spring and early summer, we sell tomato, pepper, eggplant, and herb plants from our greenhouse, many in heirloom varieties. All of our plants are started from untreated seeds. They are grown in an organic, compost-based potting mix and are fertilized with organic fertilizers & kelp. Our small flock of long wool sheep are used primarily for fiber production, allowing us to sell yarn and spinning fibers. We also sell brown eggs from our flock of free range laying hens.

Fine fiber in exceptional hand dyed colors for over 35 years. We are a mother daughter team, starting a few years before Tess was born in 1986, on an ocean-front farm in Maine. Shortly after we sold the ewes for fleece and the hand dying journey began. We offer kits and yarns in exceptional colors at reasonable prices. We are fortunate to have top designers as well as exciting new designers sharing their creativity. The quality of our yarns lets you enjoy every aspect of creative playing- from the winding of the balls of soft luxurious yarn all the way through to the final pleasure of wearing your creations! We want you to be pleased with our yarns and will help you in any way we can to help insure your success. Enjoy!

About Us
Thank you for participating in Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. We appreciate your support! The Fiber arts and textiles are not just art – they are the foundation of our textile industry’s history. Help us keep them alive!
The Teaching Museum for the Fiber Arts and Textiles is sponsored by the Y.O.U.T.H. Program, Inc. and is in York County PA. This organization became a non-profit in 2003 and works with youth, animals, the fiber arts, and communities. It teaches youth every aspect of operating a Student-Run-Business. (which is our gift shop, field shows, and now Etzy). We are located on an 11- acre farmstead and have Border Leicester cross sheep, alpacas, horses, and others. The youth care for them, help with shearing, preparing the fleeces for roving and hand-crafted items, learn the fiber arts, demonstrate, and assist with sales. The Teaching Museum was established in 2016 and is open to the community and tourists. We also have classes for boys/girls and adults.
Our mission is to provide educational and hands-on-involvement of the fiber arts and textiles while keeping its history alive. If you would like to learn more about us, share information with us, or make a donation, please visit our website: www.teachingmuseum.org!
If you are ever in the area, please feel free to drop in to visit.
