About Us

We have been in the business of providing COOPWORTH WOOL ‘from our sheep to ewe’ for 38 years and have participated in the MDS&W Festival since 1989. We are Infamous for our DYED LOCKS of many colors–used by crafters and spinners for yarns, felting, knitting, etc. We offered raw, washed, dyed and carded wool, sheepskins, and some finished items. Check our website. We have always been located at the booth ‘across from the showring’ in the first craft barn at the Maryland Festival–Barn 3 Space 1. Our profile photo is that of a rainbow-dyed batch of 15 lbs. of Coopworth Locks, the second that of our booth at the festival in 2019–always the colorful “wool candy store” you just can’t walk away from without grabbing a handful of scrumptious, brilliantly dyed COOPWORTH fleeceā€¦our sheep, bred for hardiness, easy lambing, easy care, and magnificent lustrous, brilliant, soft, and ‘locky’ wool. Have a great festival everyone. So glad you took time to chat with us!
