Catalog advertising deadline – January 1, 2017

As one to the largest sheep and wool events in the country, the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival attracts approximately 40,000 visitors over two days and offers a unique advertising opportunity. The Festival catalog contains over 200 pages of information about the specific workshops, events, demonstrations, displays, shows, auctions, and competitions at the Festival. Also included are advertisements from local and national companies pertaining to fiber arts or sheep. Vendors and advertisers are indexed in the back. 4,000 catalogs are printed and distributed each year. They are retained by many Festival attendees as a resource and reference throughout the year, and are a great way for customers to easily find you again and again. The deadline for catalog advertisements is January 1.

Thank you!

Another Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival has come and gone, and we could not have done without all of you – Festival goers, volunteers, Festival Committee members, shepherds, and participants in so many activities, competitions and demonstrations! It is amazing to see this come together with all categories of participants contributing to its success. We tried some new things this year, and had a little bad weather to deal with, and we appreciate everyone’s understanding, support, and good cheer. Thanks to everyone for participating in our 44th celebration of all things sheep & wool! We are already thinking about how to do even better next year!

In Peace,

Gwen Handler, Chairman, Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival

Lee Langstaff, President, Maryland Sheep Breeders Association
