Saturday Shepherds Appreciation Dinner

Join us for a special dinner honoring our shepherds, hosted with the Maryland Sheep Breeders Association (MSBA). Click here for more information.

Breakfast with the Glenwood Lions Club

Enjoy breakfast sandwiches, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and more at reasonable prices starting at 8:30 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Additional food available all weekend. Look for the Glenwood Lions Club Building on the midway.

Food Booths and Lamb Dishes

Food booths across the grounds offer: Ribbon chips • Ice cream • Gyros • Cotton candy • Lamburgers • Leg of lamb sandwiches • Lamb sausages.

Visit the Shepherds Market in the Home Arts Building for even more delicious lamb treats and specialty food items, along with other local products–sheep cheese, goat cheese, local honey, and more.

Our Festival Farm Market (outdoors, near the main gate) keeps getting stronger, featuring locally grown, crafted, and prepared farm goods. Stop by for:

  • Lamb and sheepskins from Chestnut Creek Farm
  • Coffee and fresh baked goods 
  • Fine herb and salt blends; artisan mustards, pesto, nuts and condiments
  • Vegetable and flowering plants
  • Beer from Milkhouse Brewery

🐑✂️ For Saturday only come out and witness the premiere blade shearer in the United States come and ply his trade for the shearing demonstrations. The Festival is honored to welcome back Kevin Ford for one day only to show off his skill with the blades and answer questions about shearing, animal care and handling and wool.
